Introduction

Potential clients should know that I give everyone a free training session and fitness assessment just to see if you're comfortable with me as a trainer. I take pride knowing I give my clients my full attention their entire time they spend with me. It took years of experience working with a variety of individuals with different goals, body types, and physical limitations to really be an effective trainer. These are the things I feel strongly about that would make me the best trainer for you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I do things pretty laid back compared to most trainers. I train clients with both short and long term needs. I don't have a complicated pricing system. I make my services as affordable as possible. I give discounts for referrals!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I first start with a complementary training session, which includes reviewing personal goals and a complete fitness assessment. If you choose to continue training beyond our initial session, we discuss availability and pricing/payment options.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 15 years of personal training experience with clients of all ages. I am NASM, ACE, and ISSA certified.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
When I was younger I worked out frequently to relieve stress. Eventually, I helped a friend reach their fitness goals and it felt amazing to help somebody better themselves. I decided to pursue personal training, not only as a hobby, but as a career I truly enjoy.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with clients of all ages, from 6 to over 75, men and women. I have experience working with clients with all types of limitations, such as sports injuries, pregnancy/post-pregnancy, broken bones, autoimmune issues and/or learning disabilities. I train clients whose goals are weight loss and also weight gain. I offer single sessions as well as partner sessions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite clients was a 13 year old young man. He trained with me 2-3 times a week for 10 weeks with the goal of improving his strength to compete in school sports. He not only gained impressive strength, but won the state title in wrestling. His hard work truly paid off.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
In this industry there are plenty of inadequate trainers out there, such as trainers that text on their phones while you're paying them for your time, and inattentive trainers that can put you at risk for injury. I've experienced many trainers who have a habit of not paying attention. The advice I have for customers looking to hire a provider is to not pick the cheapest rate when choosing a fitness professional. You get what you pay for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
If you're not sure that you'll like something, why not try it out with nothing to lose?! I always give out a free training session before you decide to begin training with me. I understand people are intimidated by a gym atmosphere or nervous when working with a personal trainer for the first time. That's why I do this!
